Interview With A Vampire

TLC and Eddie DC Cullen Take 2

TLC: well good moanin' Eddie! (wave)
Eddie: Mornin' darlin'. What you got on tap for me?
TLC: Well I did do a donation the other day that I got in the cooler in the back of the Jeep for ya...since it still might be a little early for a PBR...
TLC: Some nice O- straight...
Eddie: Never to early for blood or PBR, babe.
Eddie: We got some questions to attend, I hear...
TLC: ok well help yourself to both..
TLC: well yes you do... there were some pretty interesting ones but like we discussed only the best made it through
Eddie: I think I'll crack my first brew over the first question.
TLC: I think last time we went pretty easy on you right off the bat... so why don't I hit ya with one of the harder ones...
Eddie: Go for it, I got nothin' against 'hard'
TLC: ok sorry...
TLC: From Ms Moon:Eddie what's your take on Twilight and the subculture of fanfiction
Eddie: Well, y'all know I don't read that shit (no offense to you readers or writers, 'course). Never touched the books, though I believe Bubba did. I got nothin' against the fanfiction side of things; it's free entertainment, right? And it gives writers a chance to experiment...y'all know I'm all about experimentin', sexually.
TLC: well what I wouldnt give to be able to experiment with you Eddie...Next Question comes from Onesweetbell- SHe wants to know Will there be some sort of truce or what not with Marcus and Didyma?
Eddie: I heard Miss Onesweetybell had a lotta questions that couldn't be answered 'cause they ain't happened yet. Same goes with this one. I don't know what the fuck's goin' on with Marcus and DeeDee. But I'm tendin' towards war more than peace, bein' partial to tearin’ some motherfuckers apart when it comes to protectin’ my woman or my family, you know?
TLC: can I just say your protective side is pretty hawt Eddie...
Eddie: Bella thinks so too ;).
TLC: Now for something we don't get to see a lot of this one comes from Amanda DcCullen-We all know that you are one BAMF Rebel vamp, is there a romantic part of you that you shy away from only to let Bella see that we ladies don‘t know of?! If so, can you share some of the gestures and romantic things you do with her? ….scouts honor that I will be very JEALOUS I can assure you that lol!
Eddie: Well now, it wouldn't be romantic if it was tell-all, would it.
Eddie: But,what I consider to be romantic may not be typical, and that’s just me. Holdin’ onto Bella’s yeller dress…havin’ it drycleaned and ready for her when she got back from Volterra. Watchin’ her sleep, and not wakin’ her up even when I really wanted to screw her on my upright piano, gettin’ her those taxidermy lessons from Sue pernell. Yeah, I’m a hard motherfucker, and one part of me’s definitely hard when she’s concerned, but I love her. I’m selfish, greedy, insatiable when it comes to her but I try to make her feel good and satisfied in everythin’ I do for her.
TLC: well you certainly make me swoon with gestures like that...
TLC: So Remmy wants to know whats with you and Abby?
Eddie: Yeah, Mepkin Abbey. It's real simple...it's quiet, because them dudes in dresses can't talk on account of their vow of silence. So I like that. And they don't mess with me. In fact, they hardly even act like there's a vampire wanderin' around the place. I ain't all into introverted thinkin' and that crap, but sometimes I just need to chill the fuck out.
TLC: Speaking of not being all introverted and quiet... Whats your favorite thing to do when your just with Bubba and Jizzper?
Eddie: That there's a no brainer, babe:
Eddie: Drinkin’
Wrastlin’
Tractor racin’
Drinkin’ while tinkerin’ with our trucks
Horseshoes
Did I mention drinkin’? And sometimes we like to smoke weed too
Tailgatin’
Eddie: Oh, and drinkin' some more
TLC: so in other words tearin' the place up ;)
Eddie: Somethin' lke that, yeah...
TLC: Here is another from Remmy:Everyone knows you are quiet the intelligent guy, instead of asking what books you've read, my question is what Books haven't you read?
Eddie: This Twilight thing for starters, like I said. Shit like You: The Owners Manual by that Doctor Oz fucker. Like I need a damn book to tell me about mahself, and that goes for any and all of that self-help bullshit. Y'all, I been around so long there ain't much I haven't read. Yeah, and sometimes goddamn Bubba ropes me into a damn readalong or whatever. Shit, last Tuesday I think he was readin' from some Judith Krantz thing. I tuned him as best I could.
TLC: lol
TLC: poor poor Eddie...
TLC: Last Official question...
TLC: If you could go back and do it all over again, would you do anything differently & if so what & how would you change/do it?
Eddie: Oh yeah. Remember that time I royally pissed Bella off (I seem to recall I tried to kill Ja-cub) and she moved back in with Chief Chump? Then she wouldn’t talk to me for about a week? Oh, and even friggin’ worse…then she wouldn’t let me fuck her durin’ that whole damn trip to FL. That. I’d definitely change that.
TLC: *gasp*
TLC: ***I havent made it to that part yet :( ***
TLC: the nerve of Bella to do that to you...
Eddie: Well, what the fuck you waitin' for?
Eddie: Oh, I had it comin', trust me.
TLC: I need infinite time...
TLC: perhaps if someone would change me I wouldnt have to have the pesky thing called sleep in my way of readin...
Eddie: Yeah, that does help with havin' time to pursue all my interests ;).
TLC: but I guess thats for another time...
TLC: So any parting words for all your fans Eddie...
Eddie: I ain't really into makin' a big spectacle of myself. I'll just say thanks to all the ladies still hangin' around the double wide; y'all sure are entertainin'.
TLC: Well why wouldn't they...we love and adore you, Eddie :*
TLC: lol
Eddie: Sweet, thanks babe ;)
TLC: and if I didn't have my own Bubba at home...I'd certainly have a fuckton more time to spend with you ;)

Indie takes on Rie Warren aka GoldenMeadow Take 2.

FanficAholics Anonymous: Indie takes on Rie Warren aka GoldenMeadow
Take 2.

As an FFA Officer I’ve gotten to take part in some pretty exciting things. More exciting things are to come especially with our Third Birthday nearing around the corner. This is just the beginning.

I won’t bore you with details. I simply adore, respect and support Rie Warren as she makes her journey into publishing (stay tuned for more publishing news from other members). On the eve of her manuscript landing with a NYC Agent, I wish her the best of luck because she truly deserves it.

We will meet again with Eddie next week, so stay tuned. Just thinking of him, my ALL time favorite Edward gets me all rowdy.

Following is a podcast I did with Rie recently.

Enjoy,
Officer Dark Indie

Lesser Known Fanfiction Fandoms - Continued....

Quant Um Fizzx

Quantum Leap: It's a series about a scientist who, when threatened to lose govt funding on his time travel project, he tries to prove it works - and gets stuck leaping into the bodies of other people. Basically, the computer puts him in someone's body who was in a position to make a difference in the past, but failed. So, he puts right whatever was wrong and then leaps out and into another person, with no control whatsoever.

Addams Family- is a group of fictional characters created by American cartoonist Charles Addams. As named by Charles Addams, the Addams Family characters include Gomez, Morticia, Uncle Fester, Lurch, Grandmama, Wednesday,Pugsley, and Thing.

The Addamses are a satirical inversion of the ideal American family; an eccentric, wealthy clan who delight in the macabre and are unaware that people find them bizarre or frightening. They originally appeared as an unrelated group of 150 single panel cartoons, about half of which were originally published in The New Yorker between 1938 and Addams's 1988 death. They have since been adapted to other media, including television series (both live and animated) films, video games, and a musical.

Kyndall Viscia

Chronicles of Narnia: Set in the fictional realm of Narnia, a place where animals talk, magic is common, and good battles evil, the series narrates the adventures of various children who play central roles in the unfolding history of that world. With the exception of The Horse and His Boy, the protagonists are all children from the real world magically transported to Narnia, where they are called upon by the lion Aslan to protect Narnia from evil, and restore the throne to its rightful line. The books span the entire history of Narnia, from its creation in The Magician's Nephew, to its eventual destruction in The Last Battle.

Claire Guyan

The Lovely Bones written by Alice Sebold. It is the story of a teenage girl who, after being raped and murdered, watches from her personal Heaven as her family and friends struggle to move on with their lives as her body remains undiscovered, and with it, the truth behind her demise, and her own turmoil as she comes to terms with her own death.
If you, like me, you read The Lovely Bones and felt incredibly disappointed that Susie's remains were never discovered, then this alternate ending may satisfy that niggle.

Smallville- The series follows the adventures of Clark Kent , who resides in the fictional town of Smallville, Kansas, during the years before he becomes Superman. The first four seasons focus on Clark and his friends' high school years. After season five, the show ventured into more adult settings, eventually focusing on his career at the Daily Planet, as well as introducing other DC comic book superheroes and villains.

Gilmore Girls: The series explores issues of family, friendship and romance, as well as generational divides and social class. Ambition, education and work also form part of the series' central concerns, telling Lorelai's story from pregnant teen runaway and high school dropout to co-owner and manager of the Dragonfly Inn. Rory's transition from public school to the prestigious preparatory school, Chilton, is similarly followed by the series, exploring her ambition to study at an Ivy League college and to become a foreign correspondent. The show's social commentary manifests most clearly in Lorelai's difficult relationship with her wealthy upper-class parents, Emily and Richard Gilmore, and in the interactions between the students at Chilton, and later, Yale University.

Nicia Fanfiction gave me a ton of stuff so I close with everything she has posted and has been kind enough to send to me.

I nominate any of the Dorothy Koomson books: The Cupid Effect; The Chocolate Run; My best friend's girl; Marshmallows for Breakfast; Goodnight Beautiful; The Woman he loved Before.

Or any of Adele Parks' books (there are too many to list, but they're awesome)

I don't know if any of them are fandoms, but even if they aren't, they're brilliant books that I highly recommend.

The Chocolate Run was the first book I read that was written by Dorothy Koomson. It was so long ago, I can't even remember how I came across it, but it was most likely either in the library, or a random book that caught my eye and my interest when I read the summary.

~ 'I didn't mean to, honest to goodness I didn't. It just happened.'
Amber Salpone doesn't mean to keep ending up in bed with her friend Greg Walterson, but she can't help herself. And every time it 'just happens' their secret affair moves closer to being a real relationship, which is a big problem when he's a womaniser and she's a commitment-phobe.
While Amber struggles to accept her new feelings for Greg, she also realises that her closeness to Jen, her best friend, is slipping away and the two of them are becoming virtual strangers. Slowly but surel, as the stark truths of all their lives are revealed, Amber has to confront the fact that chocolate can't cure everything and sometimes running away isn't an option... ~

This book isn't the usual romcom fairy tale romance that authors try to spin (though she does get her man in the end), and it's one that I've re-read quite a few times. It's well-written with characters that grow and evolve as their story plays out. When reading, I wanted to laugh, and cry, and even slap a couple of the characters from pure frustration! It's most definitely a good book that I'd recommed to anyone.

If this type of story isn't your cup of tea, Dorothy Koomson also has six other books; The Cupid Effect, My Best Friend's Girl, Marshmallows For Breakfast, Goodnight Beautiful, The Ice Cream Girls and The Woman He Loved Before. They all, like this one, have a strong thread of romance and sometimes humour, yet also leave you with a strong reminder about the reality others live in. Her writing doesn't shy away from what may be considered taboo subjects, while she isn't afraid to write a lighter, happier story.

All in all, these books leave you feeling satisfied, yet somehow wanting more!
Here's my author rec!

The author I want to rec is untamed00notbroken and her fan fiction. Its summary is: We all know of werewolves... but what of werecats? This is about Savannah Colman and her life as a tabby in the Pride. Rated M for language, violence, and later chapters lemons for those who aren't interested in that kind of thing do not read.

Why do I want to rec her fic? Firstly, because she’s a brilliantly talented, yet under-recognised fanfiction writer. Her first and only fan fiction story (at the moment) is titled, The Pride: Savannah’s Side, and is based mainly off of the Pride series by Rachel Vincent. However, she also takes inspiration from other authors Kelley Armstrong, Sherilyn Kenyon, Trisha Baker, Jessica Anderson, Tami Hong, Sergei Lukyanenko as well as her own original ideas to blend them all into a story that has romance, action, humour and in the later chapters, a whole heap of angst and plot twists that keep you on your toes. I only found out that she was a fan fiction author because she started reading one of my fan fictions, and it took me a few months to build up the courage to read her fic, since I’d never even heard of the series before. But I’m so glad that I did.

It follows approximately six months to a year in the life of Savannah Colman, as she’s called back from college by her family to be protected by the Pride. Someone, or something, is taking tabbies, and her family, and Pride don’t want her to be next. She has to leave behind her human boyfriend Josh, and back home she understandably ends up spending time with her ex-fiancĂ©, Marc. Deeply buried sparks begin to fly, and though they try to deny it, with the danger that threatens Savannah, one thing soon leads to another, especially when the threat begins to strike a little too close to home.

Her chapters are enthralling and mesmerising, and suck me deep into her story each time. She has a way of intertwining subtle sub-plots in a way that leaves you anxious and needing more, whilst sometimes still being left reeling from the events that transpired in the chapter you just finished reading. The feelings and emotions she evokes with her words are indescribable. On more than one occasion I’ve found myself choked up and teary, both with sadness and happiness alike. I’ve wanted to laugh, cry, grin like a fool and ‘awwwwwwwwwwww’ as I read this story. The motivations for each of the characters is specific according to their personalities, and at times you want to strangle them, or just knock their heads together to make them see sense!

It’s mainly narrated by Savannah, and we soon become accustomed to her caring, yet slightly sarcastic tongue as we progress through the story. However, there are a few chapters in Marc’s POV where we gain some insight into what he’s thinking and feeling about the events that unfold in the later chapters. The story has only just been completed (the epilogue was a fantastic Christmas Day treat and the perfect ending to a beautiful story), but thankfully she has a plan in the works for a sequel that’s due to be started in January!

Untamed00notbroken is a fantastic author, and writes for the enjoyment she gains from having people enjoy her work. This fic sadly doesn’t have a high review count, even though it deserves more, but her simple, yet effective writing style has a huge impact.

On top of being a fantastic writer, she’s also an extremely talented artist (check her work out on DeviantArt under the same name!) a great friend and a lovely person to boot. She takes on board the suggestions that are offered up by her readers, and also helps those who need a little bit of support, encouragement or advice with their fics and the direction they want to take. I guess I want to rec her because not only does she deserve it as an author, but also as a person. She’s one of the kindest, nicest people I had the good fortune to meet through fan fiction, and while she definitely writes for an unusual and under recognized fandom she truly deserves a lot more recognition for her fic.

Happy reading, and best wishes

Lesser Known Fanfiction Fandoms

Smaller Fandoms…Part One

FanFicAholics Anonymous is about many different things to a widely diverse group of people, young and old alike. Our name symbolizing that we all have an addiction to fanfiction. At some point you loved something so much you either wanted it to continue or you wanted to make it continue, or elaborate on it yourself, whether it was a book, a movie, a TV show, or even a video game. These writings are pretty much considered what fanfiction is, and at FFA Anon not only do we embrace the phenomenon of fanfiction, we encourage and feed the addiction to the point where it NEVER sleeps.

To round out the rest of the year here at FFA Anon, not only have we celebrated FAGE 3Some in the month of November, but we have sent an SOF (Save Our Fandoms…I am coining this term) out to our members to recognize those fandoms which may not have a huge following, or much representation within our family and deserve some much needed praise.

I must say our members did not disappoint. They’ve posted things from Pride and Prejudice to Tetris fanfiction this month.

So, it’s my solemn duty as Officer Dark Indie to try to bring you EVERYTHING we have posted and discussed this month, as well as some who have been kind enough to email their favorite’s to me. I apologize if I’ve missed some things; I am human after all, but please enjoy these and check out all the recs which fit your fancy!

Linara Philips has been kind enough to scatter our forum with tons and tons of recs, from many different fandoms.  You can also find her extensive list of recs on fandoms ranging from Angel to Xena; Warrior Princess at http://kitd-recs.livejournal.com/.  She also writes for quite a list of different fandoms but seems to have her primary fandom in the Buffy/Angel Universe. You can find her on live journal here http://leni-ba.livejournal.com/559913.html  or over at FFN here http://www.fanfiction.net/~leni

THE BRIDGERTON SERIES

I love stories with happy endings; the ones where you can relax, and enjoy the journey because you are 100% sure it will all be resolved by the end.

I also happen to love stories which depict large families; it's a weakness of mine. Being an only child, raised by a single mother, I love reading of little signs that blood does run thicker than water.

Figure my joy when I found a series that has BOTH my loves in it.

Seven siblings, all of them adorably named in alphabetic order: Anthony, Benedict, Colin, Daphne, Eloise, Francoise, Gregory, and Hyacinthe (I know, I know. I'd snicker if that happened in real life, but for some reason, in this series, it works.) Add a matriarch who knows exactly what her children need, and still bows graciously when she is mistaken, and the Bridgertons become a family I was eager to meet after I finished the first book and figured I had six more to go. I found the third book to drag a little, especially in comparison to the previous two, but luckily it didn't stop me from trying out the fourth... and fifth... and twenty-four hours later I was wishing for an eighth book.

I have a warning, though. If you're looking for deep delving into a character's mind, this isn't it. It's about people falling in love at first (or second, at the latest) sight, though there are one or two surprises along the way. There are the usual previous engagements, and scheming uncles, and evil stepmothers, and hidden treasures, and masked heroes - not all in the same book, thank God. But all in all, the characterization is steady, and it was fun to see the little Bridgertons grow up in the background of their older siblings' stories until it was their turn for the limelight.

Rating? NC-17. Yep. This series belongs to *that* kind of books. You know, the ones where someone loses their virginity somewhere in the middle of the story. If that's a point in Ms. Quinn's favor for you, yay! Her lemons are quite well-written. If you don't the citrus-y flavor, do what I did and skip those pages.

It'll be worth the read.

The dialogue is witty and fun, with few exceptions. I also liked that not one couple was like the other, and how all the characters came to play in every book without forcing the situation.

Zen Mar

Zen Mar is our local Heroes expert and seriously who can resist Sylar? I seriously trust everything she rec’s and favorited right away. You can find her authors page as well as any of her Heroes Fandom favs here: http://www.fanfiction.net/u/1589216/CrazySue05

Isaac Asimov was a brilliant writer. He wrote novels about robots which adhered to the “Three Laws of Robotics”, some naughty robots which didn’t, some which had a higher power given in order to bypass the Three Laws. One of these compilations is what I am pimping today. It’s called I,Robot.
And before you ask, this is not the film where thousands of robots jump through the glass; Will Smith shooting each of ‘em while a computerized voice screams,” MY LOGIC IS UNDENIABLE!” That was an adaptation from many stories of Asimov. I,Robot basically is a compilation of stories which do not fit into any series per se, but stand out as brilliant.

Sadly this fandom has exactly only 5 stories. Either it is because no one thinks they can do justice to the original (God knows I have thought that several times) or they are not interested in the awesomeness that is Sci-fi. Anyways for more information, check out its Wiki page.

Jay Nordmann

Because it's a fandom - a small one, but still - and this is the group for fandoms, I urge all Millennium Trilogy lovers to just please, watch the original movie (the Swedish one). I know there's an American version coming out really soon, and from what I've seen from clips and the like, I can tell that it's not as intense as the original. Which is called "Men who hate women" (org.; Menn som hater kvinner), NOT "The girl with the dragon tattoo"

Silver Spoon

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doctor_Who

Raise your hands if you know of the Doctor? Dr Who is the longest running sci-fi series in the world, and is now being steered by Russell T Davies. The Doctor is a human-looking alien, the last of the Time Lords, who travels through time in his TARDIS, usually with the assistance of a young, female helper (nothing pervy, the Doctor doesn't DO relationships). The latest series sees Matt Smith take on the role of the Doctor (the eleventh since the series' creation), with husband and wife duo Amelia Pond (Karen Gillan) and Rory Williams (Arthur Darvill) along for the bumpy ride. Despite its occasionally adult tones, Dr Who is a long enjoyed family show, which shows off some innovative writing if not hokey special effects! Recs from the group wall below.

Maria Depp Burton

-The Big Bang Theory in a TV Show by Chuck Lorre & Bill Prady. The story line revolves around two physicists, Leonard (Johnny Galecki) & Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and their new neighbor Penny (Kaley Cuoco).
-The group complete Howard (Simon Helberg) who still lives with his mother and Raj (Kunal Nayyar) who can't speak to girls unless he is drunk.

-On the fourth season Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) Howard's fiancee and Amy Farrah Fowler Sheldon's friend who is girl but not his girlfriend (Mayim Bialik) will also join the group.

-The Series count four years of success. However the fan fics for the show are very little (just over 1,000) compared to other Fandoms.

Ashesatmidnight Fanfic

The Mercy Thompson series by Patrica Briggs is a paranormal series following the adventures of our heroine Mercedes 'Mercy' Thompson. She is a a half indian coyote shapshifter in a world full of supernatural beings stronger then herself. She is the last of her kind, the others were killed by the vampires century's before.

She is a VW merchanic, her best friend is a 300 italian vampire called Stefan and her neighbour *cough* love interest *cough* is a werewolf called Adam. The werewolves in this series are also immortal.

Currently there are 6 books.
1: Moon Called
2: Blood Bound
3: Iron Kissed
4 Bone Crossed
5: Silver Borne
6: River Marked

They are a healthy mix of action and romance, Mercy is prone to trouble, she always seems to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Much to the annoyance of Adam.

Mercy is a strong, assertive character, Patricia Briggs is a good writer in my opinion.
here is the fanfics. it is small just over 150

There are also chapter extracts available on Patricia Briggs site if anyone is interested in checking it out. http://www.patriciabriggs.com/books/

Summary on the back of I Am Number Four:

I was sitting with my feet in the water when I felt it coming.

The water around my leg started boiling, and my lower leg started glowing where the scar was embedding itself.

The third of the Lorien symbols, the third warning.

The stakes were higher now.

They had found number three, wherever he or she was, and number three was dead.

I am number four.

--- I love the premise to the story because it's based on an alien race of people who, for the most part, appear human. The people, who are Loric (from their home planet Lorien) are more or less extinguished by their enemies, the Mogadorians. In the dying days of their civilization, the Loric people sent 9 children and 9 guard (Cepans) from Lorien to Earth in order to keep their race alive.

To protect the children, a number was given to each, and a type of spell was set in place that stipulated a Loric child couldn't die unless they were next. They have to be killed in order of their numbers, that is, unless they are together.

Upon getting to Earth, each child left with their Cepan, and have been separated ever since.

As they grow up, the children develop what are called their Legacies. They are, for lack of a better word, superhuman abilities. On Lorien, they would not have been anything too special, but to people on Earth they appear extraordinary. These are what help the children and their guard fight against the Mogadorians in the story.

When number three dies is where the story picks up. And I reallllly love it :) If there is anyone who was thinking about reading them, I highly recommend it

I hope you enjoyed today's post, and hopefully we will see you tomorrow for round two.

Much Love

Pups Spreads The Love

*slides down my pole and sits on the stage, patting the floor next to me* Come on a little closer honey, I've got a few little stories to tell you. What are they about? Well everything and everyone. Now if you know me, and I am hoping you do, you know my taste in fiction leans toward the... unusual. The deviant. The non-canon. And that, my dear little reader, is what we are here to talk about. Now, I love Edward and Bella as much as the next girl and actually started reading canon way back when I was just a wee little lass still wearing my days of the week panties and not showing them to ANYONE. I even writing a possible canon fic. I KNOW! there was actually a time. Anyway, one day I read a little ditty called Scotch, Gin and The New Girl by JAndCo and my Mind. Was. Blown. I fell down a rabbit hole and never looked back. What is non canon you ask? Well that's easy peasy. Any fic that deviates from the couples that are established in the original story. Easy huh? Instead of Edward and Bella as your main couple, you could have Edward and Rosalie. Or Emmett and Alice. Or Jasper and Bella. The possibilities are endless my loves and I hope that, over time, you will be willing to expand your horizons a little with me.

Lets start out a little slowly, carefully if you will. This is a fic I have already mentioned, and is not TRULY a non-canon but it definitely has it's moments. Ladies and gentleman, I give you
This little tale tosses our favorite little clan in a cocktail shaker and gives it a good shake up. A little bit of Dangerous Liaisons, a little bit of high school hell, some scotch, some gin (yummy) and a very interesting bet add up to all sorts of hijinks's for Edward, Jasper and Bella the Scotch, Gin and New Girl that are mentioned in the title. Now I will warn you, this is not a child friendly fic, despite being set in high school. Language is dirty, dancing is dirty and all of the kids, at various times and with various partners are dirty as well. That being said? This may be, to this day, one of my favorite fics. Ever. Even though it is not technically non canon and I have the 'La Bella' shirt to prove it. I know honey, pick that jaw of yours up off the floor. We have more fics to cover.

Now, my next rec is a bit more.... experimental. Literally. I'm not sure how many couples actually feature in this one but my oh my they are amazing.
Hedone Ranch by JenJadeEyes
Workaholic Bella Swan, personal assistant to Alice Brandon, every one's favorite movie star ad her best friend, needs a vacation. A long one. Alice, loving friend that she is, books Bella a week at a spa that has a dazzling array of additional services, if you will. To go into any more detail will possibly ruin some of the surprise here but let me assure you that this fic is h-o-t HOT. Yes, it's smutty, very and apologetically so but our best girl undergoes a startling transformation and expands her horizons... amongst other things. The characters here, each getting their own chapter, are richly drawn, incredibly distinct and very, VERY hot and there is really a little something for everyone, no matter who your favorite twi-guy is. I found this gem on the Perv Pack Smut Shack so, once again, this is not for kidlets but is not to be missed.

My last rec for this fine evening is a little bit.... different and definitely not for everyone. As you can see if you read my previous rec, and you should, you see that the boys of Twilight tend to get ALL KINDS of love and so do the ladies. Edward, Bella, Rose, Emmett, Jasper, Alice and Carlisle are served up in every conceivable combination all over fandom. Now, I'm not complaining in the least , don't get me wrong. However, take a look at that list. See someone missing? That's right, every one's favorite Mama Bear is hard to find in a non-canon situation. Non-canon Esme fics are few and far between, I am sorry to say. Esme is strong, confident, funny and beautiful. Why doesn't she get any non-canon love? I wondered the same thing for a long time until I stumbled on this little ditty and my pervy little heart exploded with glee.
A Particularly Vivid Dream by Kkalmm
Oh. My. Esme. This story is amazing. Esme is a loving and devoted mother who, unfortunately has to travel away from her Twilight loving daughter Alice and her friends for business. A sneaky Renee, a Skype call and a table of rowdy boys in an an airport VIP lounge set the stage for a VERY interesting take on the Twi-canon. Now, I will warn you, this fic has a Jasper/Esme pairing which may not be readable for everyone but I urge you to take a chance. Esme may be a mom but she is not HIS mom and her confident, funny and entirely believable attributes make this character one of my favorites in the fandom. EVER. Of course the fact that Jasper is a leading man doesn't hurt either. *shifty*

Well my lovelies, that concludes my first ever 'Pups Spreads The Love' post. I hope you all take a chance and explore something new and different with me. Todays fics were all Twilight but I KNOW some of you read other fandoms, as do I, and I will be featuring them in coming weeks. Got a non-canon pairing you want to see here? Any and all suggestions are welcome and will be considered for a rec. Till next time my loves.
Pole dances and panty flashes,
Pups
